I exercised for a total of ten minutes today. We have about a quarter of a mile (I think) around our property. I ran around the perimeter twice and then walked it twice. I was really slow for both of these, but I did it! It took me about ten minutes and two songs on my iPod. I put it on shuffle and stopped on the first acceptable songs that played. While I ran, I listened to "Smooth Criminal", by Alien Ant Farm. Random, but good for running. I was done with my two laps by the time the song was over. While I walked I listed to the live version of "Clocks", by Coldplay.
Most people would think this workout was no big deal, but I think this is a good start. I don't want to try to much at once, and I physically am not up for it anyway. Even now, twenty minutes later, my throat still feels wierd and I am coughing. Do you know what I mean by my throat feels wierd? It's really open and tickling. It's not really a comfortable thing. Hopefully, the more I workout the easier this will get.
No news today on the food front. I am going to have leftover chili because it can't be wasted. Soon, though, I'll also be writing about my diet improvements.Trying Againhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10867449986523774298noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-759451852045110055.post-45036643271419150622010-10-21T15:02:00.000-07:002010-10-21T16:58:55.448-07:00About MeAlmost two months ago I lost my baby when I was 8 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I felt extremely depressed about the loss and I decided I needed something else to focus on. I'm going to try to be healthy. I am going to excercise and eat well. When I was pregnant I really tried to eat all the right things and switched to organic. Ever since I lost my baby I just haven't really cared as much. I'm going to go back to my healthy habits I started then. Also, I am going to try to be even better about eating healthy than I was before this new goal.
Honestly, I do not exercise. I'm 26 years old and I just plain don't exercise. I usually don't even want to. I avoid it. However, deep down I know this is really bad. I started this blog to try to keep track of my progress and maybe inspire other lazy people out there to do better.Trying Againhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10867449986523774298noreply@blogger.com0
